Giuseppe De Carlo
Biography
Giuseppe specialises in public contract law and corporate law, especially in the field of infrastructures and transport and mainly provides legal advice and assistance to public entities and private players.
He assists major Italian and international players in major infrastructure transactions, providing strategic advice in the areas of infrastructure (including complex), public-private partnership, transportation and logistics, and in the establishment, management, divestment and other transactions related to publicly held companies.
He also provides legal advice to the Public Administration and has significant experience in corporate, M&A and commercial contracting.
Graduated in Law from the Bocconi University in Milan, he holds a second-level master's degree in Institutional Relations, Lobby and Corporate Communication from Luiss Guido Carli and attended Master's and postgraduate courses at SDA Bocconi (Public Private Partnerships for Investments and Services - Tax Management of Individual and Family Assets), at the University of Milan (Financial Markets) and at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School (Investment Banking and Structured Finance).
He is an expert advisor at the Cabinet of the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport and a lecturer in "Commercial Law, Transport and Logistics Regulation" at the Link Campus University in Rome, where he is also coordinator of the "Defence and Security Sciences" course.
He was an advisor for the Chamber of Deputies and the Extraordinary Commissioner during the receivership of Rome, dealing mainly with public procurement and local taxes.
Giuseppe is Vice-President of the 'Young Entrepreneurs Group - Confcommercio Lombardia', which aims to strengthen the role of young entrepreneurs in Lombardy, the first region in Italy in terms of GDP and the second richest region in Europe.
