Francesco Lagonigro new
Editor-in-Chief of The Academy
Morri Rossetti & Franzosi strengthens its positioning as “The Knowledge Firm®” with the appointment of Francesco Lagonigro as Editor in Chief of "The Academy", the project that integrates the Firm’s publishing activities, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and specialist training programmes.
The Academy represents the evolution of the Firm’s long-standing commitment to systematically enhancing the production and dissemination of knowledge. This path also includes the Observatory Project, launched in 2019, as well as the recent development of a custom-made AI tool dedicated to enhancing the Firm’s knowledge assets, developed in collaboration with JEMP (the Junior Enterprise of Politecnico di Milano).
In his new role, Francesco Lagonigro will oversee the editorial coordination of The Academy, bringing his extensive experience in legal publishing and in the development of editorial and training projects for the professional market. He previously worked for over ten years at Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre and for five years at SEAC.
Working in close collaboration with the Marketing & Business Development Team, Lagonigro will coordinate the editorial activities of the 12 Observatories and their related content, fostering integration between in-depth analysis and training initiatives.
His contribution will also focus on enhancing the external visibility of the Firm’s know-how, strengthening its training offering, and developing relationships with external stakeholders, including training institutions, specialist publishers, professional bodies, and Bar and Accountancy Associations.
“In the complexity of the legal and tax services market, knowledge is our true guiding star. We move towards it continuously, systematically, and with confidence.” – said Stefano Morri, Senior Partner at Morri Rossetti & Franzosi. “It is reassuring that, amid uncertainty about the impact of AI on the sector, a highly authoritative voice is speaking about the decisive importance of semantic capital. We aim to accumulate this capital as much as, if not more than, before. The Academy project ultimately reduces to this aspiration. It institutionalises it, turning it into structure. Francesco’s role is to organise what already exists, optimise the work of the various teams, improve cultural exchange with the many people who follow us through our communication channels, and, ultimately, raise the bar of our ambition in this field - making the Firm an ever more dynamic hub of ideas, information, and connections.”
