Morri Rossetti in the first bond issuance of A.C. Chievo Verona
Morri Rossetti assisted A.C. Chievo Verona in the first bond issuance whose rate of return is linked to the performance of the team and in particular, to one of its players: Valter Birsa.
Morri Rossetti worked with a team coordinated by Senior Associate Alberto Di Alberto.
A.C. Chievo Verona is the first Serie A’s football club to join the project launched by the KickOffers platform, through which it will be possible to proceed with the subscription of the bond: the collection target is set at 3 million euros. Bond trading opened on April 7.
The operation proves to be innovative because, in addition to the variability of interest, the bonds will not be tied until maturity, but can be sold and bought at any time.
A.C. Chievo Verona project thus opens up new financial scenarios for sports clubs, whose incomes are now mainly dependent on revenues deriving from the sale of audiovisual rights. The operation of the Scaligera team is aimed at developing the youth sector, as well as strengthening the participation of supporters in the life of the Club.
