Morri Rossetti advices Richemont and Kering in the appraisal of Manifacture Cartier Lunettes
Morri Rossetti e Associati has been requested by Richemont group and Kering group to carry out the appraisal of Manifacture Cartier Lunettes – a French company which have manufactured eyewear for Maison Cartier for years – in the context of a strategic operation between the two groups which have brought Richmond to acquire a minority shareholding of Kering Eyewear.
Under the deal, Richemont has acquired 30 percent shareholding of Kering Eyewear through a cash capital increase and the capital contribution of Manifacture Cartie Lunettes.
Mario Buzzelli, Senior Associate and Head of Assets Appraisal Department of the Firm has led the team drawing up the appraisal report, with the assistance of Gianluca Baro.
Kering Eyewear is part of Kering Group which owns luxury brands like Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Brioni, Christopher Kane, McQ, Stella McCartney, Tomas Maier, Boucheron, Dodo, Girard-Perregaux, Pomellato, Qeelin and Ulysse Nardin.
Richemont owns luxury brands in watchmaking field (Jaeger-LeCoultre, Vacheron Constantin, IWV, Officine Panerai, A. Lange & Sonhe, Roger Dubuis, Piaget, Baume & Mercier) and in other sectors (such as Cartier, Montblanc, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chloé, Alfred Dunhill, Azzedine Alaia, Lancel, Purdey, Shanghai Tang).
