Morri Rossetti among the firms involved in the purchase of a 100 million real estate portfolio by Merope

Merope Asset Management has acquired, through its investment vehicle "Elettra", a real estate portfolio located in Rome and consisting of 10 prestigious buildings called "I Villini", located in the Via Sallustiana district, near Via Veneto. The buildings were sold by the alternative investment fund "Flavia".

 

Located in a centuries-old park of great historical, artistic and cultural interest, the properties cover an area of over 17,000 sqm.

 

Curtis Mallet-Prevost Colt & Mosle assisted the seller with a multidisciplinary team led by Mr. Sergio Esposito Farber, partner, assisted by counsel Mr. Francesco Dell'Atti, and comprising Ms. Carolina Magarini Montenero, Ms. Ludovica Giaccone and Ms. Erica Sotgiu for the real estate aspects. Mr. Francesco Caccioppoli, partner, and Mr. Giuseppe Calamo, associate, provided assistance in relation to town planning law issues.

 

Di Tanno Associati firm, with Mr. Domenico Ponticelli, partner, and Mr. Stefano Cacace, senior associate, handled the tax aspects of the transaction on behalf of the seller.

 

Merope was assisted by the law firm Dentons with a multidisciplinary team led by Mr. Carlo Merisio, partner, with lawyers Ms. Elena Cossutta and Mr. Giuseppe Croce for the real estate aspects and with Mr. Alessandro Fosco Fagotto, partner, and lawyers Mr. Edoardo Galeotti and Ms. Giulia Caselli Maldonado for the acquisition financing. The latter, amounting to EUR 100 million, was provided by Intesa Sanpaolo and Banco BPM, assisted by Advant Nctm with a team led by Mr. Eugenio Siragusa with Mr. Carmine Morrone, Ms. Martina Marmo and Mr. Gianluca Salvadei.

 

Belvedere Inzaghi & Partners - BIP, with a team consisting of Mr. Antonio Belvedere, co-founding partner, and Mr. Guido Alberto Inzaghi, Mr. Matteo Peverati, partner, Mr. Francesco Boetto, senior associate, and trainee Ms. Eleonora Lavelli, provided assistance to Merope, on behalf of the investment vehicle "Elettra", with respect to legal issues of urban planning and construction, from the due diligence phase to the drafting of contracts.

Merope was also assisted by Morri Rossetti firm for the legal aspects, in particular in the introductory phase of the deal, with a team led by Mr. Stefano Morri and Ms. Roberta Incorvaia.
