New volume "Management of Business Crisis and Insolvency" edited by Morri Rossetti

Over the past few months, our Firm's professionals have been working on the development of a new Italian volume published by Giuffrè, one of Italy's most prestigious publishing houses: "Management of Business Crisis and Insolvency".

The management of business crisis has undergone significant regulatory changes, from the implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/1023 to the recent introduction of the Business Crisis and Insolvency Code (No. 136/2024), which replaced the former Bankruptcy Law. This new regulatory framework provides entrepreneurs and creditors with innovative tools to address crisis situations, including negotiated settlement and debt restructuring.

The volume, part of Giuffrè's renowned "Professional Manuals" series, is the product of a collaborative effort between our Restructuring & Business Crisis Department and other Legal & Tax Departments of the Firm.

With a technical and professional approach, the work provides a comprehensive guide to managing the key phases of a business crisis - from early signs of financial distress to judicial liquidation.

This ambitious project is the result of contributions from more than 20 professionals who invested over 2,100 hours of analysis. Their work included the review of 150+ court rulings, 90+ academic articles, and 35+ practical case studies, culminating in an in-depth examination of the main legal and operational tools available to businesses.
