Serena Tavolaro

Biography

Graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Sacro Cuore of Milan, Serena began her legal career in a leading Milan law firm, focusing immediately on the protection of intellectual and industrial property. She, also, strengthened her expertise in this field by working in a major international firm.

Over the years, Serena has gained experience in handling in-court and out-of-court defence in Industrial and Intellectual Property Law and contractual matters (trademarks, patents, design, copyright, advertising and unfair competition) in the luxury, fashion, interior design, food, pharmaceutical and patent sectors before the Italian Judicial Authority, EUIPO, Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM), the Institute of Advertising Self-Discipline, Customs in the interest of Italian and foreign companies.

Frequently involved in professional teaching on the subject of Industrial and Intellectual Property, as well as the online Master in Fashion Law - Altalex.

She is a member of the Italian Chamber of Industrial Lawyers (association of lawyers operating in the field of industrial and intellectual property).
