Morri Rossetti for the launch of Uallaby, a tech company specialising in generative AI
Carlo Impalà assisted Uallaby - a tech company founded by Marco Trentin and Carlo Farini, which charts a new path in the use of generative AI - in the realisation of an innovative platform designed to optimise the time and costs associated with complex corporate processes in various verticals areas (such as publishing, human resources and marketing) by exploiting generative AI.
From the earliest planning stages, legal assistance was crucial to the success of the project, with Mr Impalà and his team leading the company through a complex process of risk assessment and regulatory implications and in the preparation of all the legal documentation required to implement the project.
Moreover, the team's assistance was crucial not only to ensure compliance with current regulations, but also to develop a platform that anticipated future regulatory changes, including those introduced by the AI Act, which affected the final stages of the project.
“I am delighted to have contributed to a project that represented, and still represents, an extremely stimulating challenge from a legal point of view,” said Carlo Impalà. “The need to operate in a platform development process, in a regulatory environment that is also constantly evolving, required us to develop a dynamic and forward-looking approach. I very much share the vision of Uallaby's founders, which takes into account not only technological and commercial objectives, but also places legal compliance and risk minimisation at the centre. It is an approach that is a definite competitive advantage not only for suppliers, but also for companies that choose solutions that combine innovation and responsibility.”
