Morri Rossetti with Broadbandy in the launch of Advanced-TV advertising services

Morri Rossetti has assisted Broadbandy - digital start-up active in the programmatic buying market - in the implementation and delivery of advertising services related to Advanced TV.

Broadbandy was launched in 2021 by the founders of 4Strokemedia - one of the main Italian Media Technology Platforms - after the conclusion of the acquisition of the latter by Sky Italia.

The start-up was created with the aim of supporting TV publishers in enriching their advertising offer with interactive formats through the targeting methods of Adressable TV. The implementation of the service is in line with recent developments in the sector and exploits the potential of Connected TV through the use of the 'Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV' standard. The service allows the purchase of advertising campaigns in reservation and guaranteed programmatic mode and the offer is already active and already includes several dozen local national publishers among its clients.

Morri Rossetti acted with a team led by Mr. Carlo Impalà, partner and head of the TMT and Data Protection department, with the support of Ms. Giorgia Valsecchi.

The firm assisted Broadbandy in all contractual, regulatory and compliance aspects, especially in the field of data protection - an aspect of particular complexity given the multiplicity of subjects involved, the technologies used and the quantity and type of data processed -, related to the specific nature of the service and the sector.
