Our Firm featured in Italy’s leading true crime podcast on the Sargonia Dankha case

In the latest episode of “Indagini”, investigative journalist Stefano Nazzi revisits the case of Sargonia Dankha, a 21-year-old Swedish girl of Iraqi origin who disappeared in Sweden in 1995.

“Indagini” is one of Italy’s most acclaimed true crime podcasts. Produced by Il Post, a leading Italian digital newspaper known for its in-depth journalism, the series stands out for its rigorous storytelling, careful analysis of court documents, and meticulous reconstruction of complex criminal cases. Over the years, it has built a broad international listenership among audiences interested in investigative reporting and long-form narrative journalism.

In this new two-part episode, Nazzi reconstructs a case that remained unresolved for nearly three decades, marked by significant investigative and legal challenges. The podcast explores not only the events surrounding Sargonia Dankha’s disappearance, but also the procedural obstacles that hindered progress for years -particularly those stemming from the cross-border nature of the case.

Our Firm assisted the family through a demanding and multifaceted legal process, made especially complex by its transnational dimension. Through in-depth legal analysis and a strategic approach, our Francesco Rubino and his team succeeded in initiating judicial proceedings in Italy. Their work transformed a story that had remained suspended for almost thirty years into a concrete path toward justice.
