Biography

Matilde is a lawyer admitted before the Higher Courts of Italy.

She represents leading Italian and international companies - particularly in the luxury, design, mechanical, and electronics sectors - in complex criminal litigation. Her practice also covers preventive strategies for the protection of trademarks, patents, design portfolios, trade secrets, and copyright.

Holding a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from the "Politecnico di Milano", Matilde has specialized since 2003 in the criminal enforcement of IP rights, developing effective strategies to combat counterfeiting.

Over the years, she has gained significant expertise in advising and defending companies and their legal representatives in criminal proceedings related to the violation of Made in Italy, achieving landmark rulings before several Italian courts.

With more than twenty years of litigation experience, Matilde works closely with the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Financial Police) and Italian Customs to prevent and enforce measures against counterfeiting. She also provides legal support to business associations and enterprises on all aspects of IP protection.

Matilde is a frequent speaker at training programs for Customs officers as well as at national and international conferences on IP rights.

She is a member of the "Camera Avvocati Industrialisti" (Italian Association of Industrial Property Lawyers).
