Paola Polliani

Biography

Paola, with a long-lasting experience as a partner in leading boutiques and international firms, has been dealing with labour law assistance to foreign and Italian companies for over twenty years, in all areas of labour law and relations. 

She has gained experience in the field supporting companies from the start-up stages to reorganizations, restructurings and extraordinary operations with related collective dismissals, business transfers and outsourcing processes, as well as in contracting, workforce supply, transfers and secondments. She also supports companies on a daily basis drafting company agreements and regulations, including welfare, shareholding and incentive plans. 

From her collaboration with prestigious intellectual property law departments, she has developed a qualified experience of the protection of corporate assets and know-how, confidentiality and non-competition. She also assists companies in the management of individual labour relations, including contracts, disciplinary proceedings and individual dismissals, as well as in agency matters. She supports clients on occupational safety and data protection. She also usually assists managers and directors. She coordinates and handles any labor litigation before the Italian Courts. 

Thanks to her experience at leading boutiques in the life sciences sector, she has developed specialized expertise in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry.

Paola is frequently invited to seminars and conferences as a speaker and is a regular contributor of publications concerning labour law.

Admitted to the Supreme Court, she graduated in Law at the Catholic University of Milan.

She is an advisory member of the Certification Commission established at the Milan-Lodi Labor Office, appointed by the Milan Bar Association.
