Massimiliano Poppi

Biography

Massimiliano specialises in Business Crisis and Special Situations. 

On behalf of the Court, he acts as Judicial Commissioner in preventive agreements and as Curator in judicial liquidations. On behalf of the Ministry of Economic Development, he acts as Liquidator Commissioner in administrative liquidations.

He is Advisor to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Milan and holds positions of Judicial Administrator on behalf of the Preliminary Investigations Judge.

As Advisor, Massimiliano assists companies in crisis regulation instruments, such as preventive agreements or debt restructuring agreements. 

He also receives appointments from the Judicial Authority as Administrator and Liquidator of companies, as well as Judicial Custodian.

He acts as a Technical Consultant, or as a Court-appointed Technical Consultant, in insolvency, corporate and banking matters or for M&A transactions.

In addition, Massimiliano acts as Judicial Administrator in judiciary prevention measures and as Coadjutor for ‘ANBSC’ - the National Italian Agency of Sequestered and Confiscated Goods.

Graduated in Economics from the Catholic University of Milan, he has gained his professional experience at leading firms in Milan, has published articles and guides for ‘Il Sole 24 Ore’, and writes for a leading business crisis magazine.
