Prof. Franzosi's IP team joins Morri Rossetti: the Firm becomes Morri Rossetti & Franzosi
Morri Rossetti announces the entry of Prof. Mario Franzosi, Federica Santonocito, and their team of legal experts in Intellectual Property, giving rise to Morri Rossetti & Franzosi.
This lateral hire strengthens the Firm's multidisciplinary approach, enriching its expertise in IP and enhancing its ability to offer Clients highly specialized and integrated advisory services to meet the increasingly complex demands of the market. Franzosi, Santonocito, and their team brings decades of experience and a strong reputation in intellectual property, with a track record that includes multinationals, major Italian groups, and SMEs primarily operating in the pharmaceutical, automation, luxury, fashion, food, and tech sectors. The new entity will provide Clients with advanced legal assistance, both in litigation and out-of-court matters, across all areas of intellectual and industrial property, including patents, trademarks, copyright, design, unfair competition, and know-how protection.
Mario Franzosi is internationally recognized for his expertise in Industrial and Intellectual Property. Considered one of the pioneers and leading experts in the field, he was among the first to approach industrial property with an international perspective, introducing significant changes in Italian case law and innovating the way industrial property cases are handled and managed.
Together with Franzosi as a Partner is Federica Santonocito, a highly regarded lawyer with extensive experience in industrial and intellectual property litigation, with particular expertise in patents, trademarks, and trade secrets. She also has in-depth knowledge of Chinese industrial law and has been assisting both Italian and Chinese clients in this area for several years.
Joining the Firm’s IP Team as Senior Associates are Michele Loconsole and Giulia Romanelli (head of the China Desk from Shanghai), along with Vittoria Tronchin as Associate and Beatrice Spina as Junior Associate.
